Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect information, including WhatsApp and Meta platform data.
This Privacy Policy explains how Operon AI Labs, a brand owned and operated by Divnix Systems Private Limited (CIN: U62099PB2026PTC068800) ("Operon", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit operonailabs.com or use our services, including our WhatsApp-based integrations built on the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates ("Meta").
1. Who we are
Operon AI Labs builds software products and AI automation for businesses and organizations, such as billing tools and payment-reminder tools. Businesses and organizations that use our products (for example companies and residents' welfare associations) are our "Clients". We offer WhatsApp messaging as a feature of these products, so that a Client can send bills, invoices, payment reminders and notifications to their own customers or residents on WhatsApp as an alternative to email. The data controller for the personal information described here is Divnix Systems Private Limited, India. Contact: contact@operonailabs.com.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, business name, work email, phone number and details you share when you contact us or book a workflow survey.
- Client business information: billing records, customer or resident names and phone numbers, payment details such as amounts due and due dates, and other documents or workflow data that Clients provide so our products can work for them.
- WhatsApp and Meta platform data: when a Client connects their WhatsApp Business Account to our platform through Meta's Embedded Signup (Facebook Login for Business), we receive, with the Client's authorization, an access token and identifiers for their business portfolio, WhatsApp Business Account and phone number(s), message template details, and the content and metadata of messages sent or received through that number (including sender phone number, timestamps and delivery status).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic usage logs collected when you use our website or platform.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate and support the products and messaging features a Client has asked us to run.
- To send WhatsApp messages on a Client's behalf (for example bills and monthly payment reminders to the Client's customers or residents), receive replies, manage message templates, and show message activity to that Client.
- To respond to enquiries, provide support and communicate about our services.
- To secure our systems, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
We use Platform Data received from Meta only to provide and improve the services the Client requested. We do not sell Platform Data, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling unrelated to the service, or to build data products for third parties.
4. Sharing
We share information only with: (a) Meta, as needed to deliver WhatsApp messages and operate the WhatsApp Business Platform; (b) infrastructure and service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations (for example cloud hosting); (c) authorities where required by law; and (d) a successor entity in a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy. WhatsApp messages are also subject to Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
5. Retention
We keep Client data for as long as the Client's account is active and as needed to provide the service. When a Client disconnects their WhatsApp account or ends the engagement, we revoke stored access tokens and delete or anonymize associated Platform Data within 30 days, unless we must retain limited records to meet legal, accounting or security obligations.
6. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and data deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing contact@operonailabs.com. Instructions for deleting data connected to our Meta app are on our Data Deletion page. We respond within 30 days. Clients can also disconnect our app at any time from their Meta Business settings (Business Integrations).
8. Messaging recipients
When a Client uses our products to message their own customers or residents, the Client is responsible for having a lawful basis and any required opt-in from those individuals. A message recipient who wants their data removed can contact the Client directly or email us at the address above.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. International processing
Information may be processed in India and in other countries where our service providers or Meta operate. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is processed.
11. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through our website or by email.
